By Billie Nagy,
If you’ve never heard about TED Talks videos, then you need to go home and watch one!
In a day and age where the Internet is perhaps the biggest and most accessible instrument for knowledge, it is still sometimes difficult to find the perfect video to watch if you don’t wish to pick up a book (don’t worry, we’ve all been there) about something that truly fascinates you, or that you simply never thought about before.
TED Talks, the most popular online lecture series, not only makes learning fun – Yay! – but with their uniqueness in subject or “talk” manner and wide range of guest speakers such as Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, artists, YouTubers, world leaders, and many more, they appeal to everyone.
These TED Talks are rather short (6 to 18 minutes), and speakers give them from around the world at public conference locations. Before, the talks only covered the subject matters of technology, entertainment, and design, hence “TED.” But now, you simply find a category that interests you and videos will appear relating to your question, idea, or subject before you know it. They certainly spread the “Ideas worth spreading”!
