“Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.”
–Booker T. Washington
After winning 11 games throughout their season, the Tempe Prep women’s varsity basketball team qualified for the Arizona Interscholastic Association’s Division IV playoffs.
Coach Lambros mentioned how extremely dedicated the team was this season and how immense their effort is. Even though the Tempe Prep Knights girls’ basketball team lost the February game against Baboquivari with a score of 18-40, the fact that they qualified for the playoffs is still amazing. This shows how truly devoted and hard working the team was throughout the whole season and proves how all of their hard work paid off.
TPA’s basketball team has successfully overcome the obstacles necessary to make it to the playoffs and has trained and won enough games to be able to qualify and still the players put up a great fight against the opposing team. Overall, their success knows no bounds, as seen through them conquering all of the enormous obstacles presented to them throughout the season.
