Congratulations to our winner Noah Frazier and runner up Kelsey Bush for being our TPA representatives in the Spelling Bee! Both are going to be attending the Regional Bee at Laird Elementary on Feb. 25. The TPA spelling bee was held in the Zelman Center on Jan. 13. Our judges and

announcers were Mrs. Challis, Mrs. Calahan, and Ms.Kuntzelman. There was a total of 18 students that qualified from their English classes. The students consisted of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Noah has never won any spelling bee so he was super psyched when he won. It was especially hard because some of the words he was getting weren’t even on the study list! All he has to say is the studying and hard work really paid off. Now he is preparing by studying a list that is divided into categories based on their language of origin. Noah’s winning word was idiosyncratic. All the students did phenomenal! Good luck to our winner and runner up in the Regional Bee!
