With a new coaching staff and several new players, Tempe Prep golf has high hopes for not only this season, but for years in advance.

The team is split into two groups: one competitive team going to tournaments and looking for a state championship, and a younger, less experienced team.

This group is all about learning the game, as well as maybe learning to ride a golf cart.

Rebecca Smaw says, “It’s been a great year so far, and I’m excited to see where the year takes us. The team has been great so far, and I’m proud to be a part of it.”

With this team gaining experience, as well as the competitive team chasing a state championship, Tempe Prep will have a golf team to be proud of for a while.
