This year’s Homecoming dance was a huge hit.
Led by senior Hannah Frazier, the members of the planning committee took many hours out of their schedules to plan and set up to help make it a memorable one. “I had a lot of fun coming up with decorations and setting up the dance,” Hannah said. “It took four hours and the help of a few volunteers to do all the setup.”
But it wasn’t just student volunteers who helped with the dance. Mrs. Kathleen Clark, a TPA parent, helped book both the DJ and the photo booth, both features that made a successful night for the students.
The dance’s theme was “Hollywood Hoco,” so the decorations were glitzy and glamorous. Hosted in the auditorium, the committee hung drapes along the ceiling, and put up curtains to make the dancing space smaller. Senior Gabe Ross says, “Homecoming was great. I like how they made the areas smaller and the energy was just up the whole night.”
Overall, homecoming was a blast for all and the TPA community can look forward to more exciting dances later this year.
