There’s a new position at the school: Tempe Prep Executive Director of Extracurricular Activities, and Mr. Seagrave has filled it.
With the growing amount of extracurriculars, TPA wanted to offer more full- time support. This is Mr. Seagrave’s third year as an administrator at TPA. He spent two years as the TPA Athletic Director and then as an assistant to the Headmaster.
When asked why he took on the role, he said, “I was interested in the position as an opportunity to be a part of a team improving important areas of school pride and achievement.”
His goal is “to provide the best possible opportunities for our students to engage in extracurricular activities.” As the executive director, Mr. Seagrave will work closely with Mme. Doran, the director of extracurriculars, and Coach Keyon, the athletic director, and Mr. Lane, the assistant athletic director, to coordinate extracurricular activities.
Mr. Seagrave will begin as an observer of TPA’s extracurriculars before developing improvements.
“TPA is a great school. Our teachers and administrators provide a positive culture of life-long learning and respect,” said Mr. Seagrave, “I am proud we are able to offer many quality activities to our students and families. The small community atmosphere allows for deeper understanding of our community.”
