Q: How do I prepare for better success in my second semester?

A: A good way to be better prepared is to be on top of all your assignments once you get them. Do not procrastinate and stay organized. Ask for help from your teachers or peers to better understand the material.

Q: How can I stay focused?

A: Have a nice, clean space to do your homework and studying, and do not have anything distractive around you. There are a ton of different tips and tricks to help you focus like listening to music. That said, make sure to try different things to see what works for you because different people have different preferences for what works for them.

Q: How can I get better at studying?

A: There are plenty of tools you can use to help you study. Consider watching videos explaining a certain topic, or explain that topic to your friend like you are trying to teach them the subject. Take advantage of studying games like Blooket or Kahoot and search up relevant, pre-made quizzes. Taking good notes during class as well as participating in class discussions also helps with studying later because you can look back on what you wrote down.

Q: Why have so few newspaper articles been published?

A: The Newspaper Club had a change in leadership. While this change usually does not pose a problem, the previous leaders and supervisors did not give the incoming leadership all the required information to run the club and publish articles. It took time to reorganize the club and obtain this information, but now the Newspaper Club is back on track, and you can expect more articles in the future!
