Do you ever wonder what the outcome of The College Board tests are statistically? This year, The College Board’s results proved that Arizona high school students were above the national average in terms of being ready for college and career, and double the amount of students are earning college credit through AP exams than were 10 years ago.
Regarding the PSAT, The College Board stated that the amount of Arizona minority students who took the PSAT this year was also higher than the national average, and the male to female participation ratio was the most balanced nationally.
As far as Advanced Placement exams, more than triple the number of low-income students from Arizona scored 3 or higher out of 5 on the tests since 10 years ago, leading to a significant increase in scores.
The College Board results also showed that more Hispanic and African-American students in Arizona met the benchmark for SAT College and Career Readiness than the national average.
As Arizona continues to emphasize the value of learning, we may find ourselves leading the nation in education.
