The Tempe Prep middle school golf team recently opened their season with a tournament victory over Cicero and Lincoln Prep! As many other fall sports have already begun, so has golf.

While the Knights are excited about the win, they are just as excited for the three new coaches that have joined the team this year. Both Curt Hudek and Jay Becher are PGA golf professionals that have a tremendous amount of golf experience to share and Coach JoJo Fraser brings college experience to the young team.

Coach Hudek states, “The coaches and I are looking to help introduce people to the game of golf, which is a great social game, it’s a game kids can play for a lifetime. We’re hoping to introduce people to the game so they can enjoy it more.”

The golf team is looking forward to improving their individual games over the season and joining together to bring TPA more victories.  We wish the golf team good luck on the remaining tournaments! Go Knights!
