I’m sticking with Tempe Prep through high school, and you should too!

“Verum, Pulchrum, Bonum.” “Truth, Beauty, Goodness.” That’s the motto of our school. I wrote that without needing to look it up. That may be because I’m a Latin nerd, but I wouldn’t be one without spending two years learning Latin. And yes, Latin is a hard thing, but you don’t have to do it longer than two years. After that, you can change to French, Spanish, or German. Each language is fun and you can meet people who share your obscure interests. For me, its Latin.

You may be asking how I can say these things. I’m a freshman at Tempe Prep. I have been here since sixth grade. I have met every teacher that teaches middle school, and some I’ve met twice. All these experiences are how I have the ability to say that TPA is worth it. But languages aren’t the only things that have value.

I mentioned knowing many of the teachers and all of them are extremely talented people. They put effort into their classes and teaching you how to survive the rest of your school years. I know that a lot of them influenced me during my time as a middle schooler and I know that my high school teachers will also influence me a lot. The teachers are always here to help so if you ever need anything, they will help you. It’s important to understand that.

While yes, the workload may be a lot and it may be hard, you have to try your hardest. I know that. But another good thing is the friends you make at school. I have been friends with my gang since I met them in sixth grade. The people I hang out with are some of the closest friends I have ever made and they make my school experience so much better.

These are the things I see as the most influential in staying. There could be something different that makes you stay. I hope these give you a nice reason to decide to stick with TPA.
