Buddies, board games and balloons: this year’s sixth-grade NHS board game night was a blast.
Every year, the National Honor Society hosts the TPA sixth graders for a fun-filled Buddy Board Night, and this year was a huge success.
The event took place in the evening after the annual TPA Athletic Field day, so board games were a great way to cool down from the rigors of the previous activities. Sixth-grader Jack Metcalfe says, “Buddy board game night was awesome. I loved playing chess and eating cookies.”
With the game of chess becoming more popular, many games were played. The sixth graders seemed to pull through and take most of the wins from the high school NHS members.
Make sure to be on the lookout for future NHS events for the rest of the school year!
